Greenpeace Volunteers Intercept an Oil-Rig off Istanbul

Moments ago a few of Greenpeace volunteers intercepted a rig off Istanbul, Turkey in a bid to stop the worst excesses of our oil addiction: Arctic drilling.
Helene, Pawel, Heiko and Sven used inflatable speedboats to intercept the Leiv Eiriksson and board it, establishing their protest as it makes its way up to the pristine Arctic waters to drill for oil.
